Eligibility
The Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) waiting list for Section 8 Project-Based Voucher apartments at Selinon Park is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from September 18, 2019, until October 19, 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen
To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online pre-application
According to the MSHDA website, "no paper applications will be available or accepted."
This waiting list had the following preferences:
- Family that has been terminated from its Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program due to insufficient program funding. These families
will be drawn before all other waiting list preferences once program funding is reinstated to sufficient levels as determined by MSHDA - Homeless County of Application Residency (Applicant who is homeless and is living or working in the county of application)
- Disabled County of Application Residency (Applicant who is disabled and is living or working in the county of application)
- County of Application Residency (Applicant who is living or working in the county of application)
- Disabled Michigan Residency (Applicant who is disabled but is not living or working in the county of application)
- Michigan Residency (Applicant who is not living or working in the county of application)
- Disabled Out of state Residency (Applicant who is disabled and a non-Michigan resident)
- Out of state Residency (Applicant who is a non-Michigan resident)
Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, by order of preferences
