The Westland Housing Commission(PHA) Assisted Living Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list for apartments at the communities listed below is currently open. Applications are being accepted since at least October 2020, until further notice

• Westland Assisted Living Communities:
  • American House, 1660 Venoy Rd., Westland  
  • American House, 39201 Joy Rd., Westland
  • American House, 35700 Hunter Rd., Westland
  • Marquette House, 36000 Campus Dr., Westland
  • Village of Westland, 32001 Cherry Hill Rd., Westland

Please note: According to the WHA website "The Assisted Living Housing Choice Voucher Program provides HCV Program voucher to eligible applicants, age 50 and over, who require the advantages of assisted living. "

There are two ways to apply during the opening period:

1. Visit the Jefferson Barnes Community Vitality Center, located at 32150 Dorsey St, Westland, MI 48186

Preferences have not yet been confirmed

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list
