This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Colusa, Nevada, Sutter and Yuba County, California .

The Regional Housing Authority (RHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is closed.

The RHA last accepted applications for this waiting list from July 11, 2022, until July 28, 2022. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

There were two ways to apply during the opening period:

1. Complete the online application.
2. Print the paper application.

Once the application was completed, it was either:

1. Postmarked by July 28, 2022, and mailed to the RHA.
2. Dropped off at the RHA office.
3. Faxed to the RHA.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Involuntary Displacement (Disaster, Government Action, Inaccessibility, Property Disposition)
• Victim of Domestic Violence (Current or within previous 6 months)
• A member of the household is a service person or Veteran
• Homeless applicants in RHA’s jurisdiction
• Elderly/Disabled (Elderly families or a family whose head or spouse is disabled. One form of third-party verification required for disability preference)
• Mainstream (Households with at least one non-elderly household member with a disability)

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.
