Mims, 2 and 3-Bedroom Public Housing Waiting List

This waiting list is for Public Housing rental housing assistance in Mims, Florida.

The Housing Authority of Brevard County (HABC) last accepted Public Housing waiting list applications for 2-Bedroom Apartments in Mims from the earliest confirmed open date of April 18, 2024, until further notice. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Working (30 hours or more per week for the last 3 months or more)
• Displacement due to domestic violence verification (court documents)
• Displacement due to natural disaster (i.e. flood, hurricane, earthquake, etc.) verification
• Veterans (DD214) Participants of educational and training program verification.
• Participants of transitional housing verification.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, by order of preferences.

To apply while the waitlist was open, applicants were required to print the paper application.

Once the paper application was completed, it was to be either:

1. Turned into the HABC office.
2. Mailed to the HABC office.
