This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Miami Beach, Florida.

The Housing Authority of the City of Miami Beach (HACMB) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is closed. 

The HACMB last accepted applications for this waiting list from July 25, 2022, until July 28, 2022. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application. No telephone calls, walk-ins, or mail-ins of pre-applications were accepted.

The maximum income limit for each household size were listed on the public notice.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Local preference for Selection of Eligible Families: 62 years or older, disabled, living or working in the city of Miami Beach, U.S. Veteran, or surviving spouse of a U.S. Veteran.

3,000 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.
