This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Galveston, Texas.

The Galveston Housing Authority (GHA) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from June 6, 2023, until June 7, 2023. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Those Displaced by Natural Disaster
• Elderly
• Live and/or work in the City of Galveston
• Persons with Disabilities
• School/Job Training
• Veteran

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, by order of preferences.
