Please note: The Boaz Housing Authority also manages the Crossville Housing Authority.
The Boaz Housing Authority (BHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.
The BHA offers four Public Housing communities with 451 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from studios to 4 bedrooms.
To apply, visit the BHA office to pick up a pre-application, located at 400 Woodley Terrace, Boaz, AL 35957, from 7:30 am until 11:30 am; and 12:30 pm until 4:30 pm CT, Monday-Friday.
Once the pre-application has been completed, you must call the BHA office to schedule an appointment at (256) 593-5824 from 7:30 am until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, and proof of all income.
