Public Housing Waiting List

The Huntsville Housing Authority (HHA) waiting list for Public Housing apartments is currently open. Applications are being accepted since at least July, 2017, until further notice.

There are three ways to apply during the opening period:

1. Print the application that is available online here. Select the "English or Español" link in the "Public Housing Application" section.
2. Complete an application at the HHA office, located at 200 Washington Street Huntsville, AL 35801, from 7:00 am until 6:30 pm CT..
3. Applicants who live outside the city limits and are unable to print an application online can request an application by mail via its Contact page.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

It is not known how applicants are placed on the waiting list.
