Prescott Housing Authority Public Housing Waiting List

The Prescott Housing Authority (PHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The PHA offers one Public Housing community with 103 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms.Please note: This waiting list has preferences. This means that applicants who qualify for these preferences will receive assistance before applicants who do not. Because of there preferences, it is likely applicants who do qualify will have a long wait to receive assistance, or will not receive assistance from this office.There are two ways to apply:

1. Visit the PHA office to pick up a pre-application, located at 398 Hale Ave., Prescott, AR 71857, from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
2. Request to have a pre-application mailed to you by calling (870) 887-3718, from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.

Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, and proof of all income.The PHA does have a preference for: Elderly, disabled, and working families.Important note: Applicants will receive a confirmation number when either applying, or being placed on the waiting list, depending on housing authority policy. It is important to keep that number in a safe, easy to access place. It will be needed any time when referencing your pre-application with the housing authority.If any of your application information changes from the time you submitted the original pre-application (such as contact information, income, and household members), inform the housing authority immediately. In the case that the office sends a notice that does not get returned, or if application information is out of date, your name may be terminated from the waiting list.
