Casa Nova, Golden Hinde, Venetia Oaks, Kruger Pines and Homestead Terrace Senior and Disabled Public Housing Waiting List

This waiting list is for Senior and Disabled Public Housing rental housing assistance in Novato, San Rafael and Mill Valley, California.

The Marin Housing Authority (MHA) last accepted Senior and Disabled Public Housing waiting list applications for Studio Apartments at Casa Nova, Golden Hinde, Venetia Oaks, Kruger Pines and Homestead Terrace from June 27, 2024, until July 11, 2024. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

This waiting list was for the following properties:

• Casa Nova 
• Golden Hinde 
• Venetia Oaks 
• Kruger Pines 
• Homestead Terrace 

Income Qualification

The maximum income limits for each household size were as followed:

• 1 Person $109,700
• 2 Persons $125,350
• 3 Persons $141,000

Preferences

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Work/School (8 Points)
• Homeless (Coordinated Entry) (10 Points)
• Veterans (10 Point)
• Involuntary Displaced (10 Points)
• Chronic Homelessness (Coordinated Entry) (4 Points)
• Section 8 Participant (10 Points)
• Bringing Families Back (15 points)

Selection Process

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, weighed by order of preferences.

There were two ways to apply while the waitlist was open:

1. Complete the online application.
2. Complete the application at the MHA office
