Housing Authority of the City of Goodland Public Housing Waiting List

The Housing Authority of the City of Goodland (HACG) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The HACG offers one Public Housing community with 84 units for families and senior/disabled individuals, ranging in size from 1 to 3 bedrooms.There are two ways to apply:

1. Visit the HACG to pick up a pre-application, located at 515 E. 5th Street, Goodland, KS 67735, from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm MT, Monday-Thursday, and Fridays 7:30 am until 4:30 pm.
2. Download a pre-application online here, then print and complete. Please note: There is a Student application with special forms, Elderly/Disabled application with special forms, and Family application with special forms. Be sure to download the correct application and forms.

Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.Be sure to include copies of these documents with the pre-application: For Families: Social Security Cards, birth certificates, proof of all income, court documentation of amount for child support (if applicable), food stamps documentation (if applicable), most recent bank statements, most recent tax returns, daycare info (if a child attends daycare), all rental history and reference information must be accurate.For Senior/disabled individuals: Everything above that is applicable and, medical statements showing balance due and or out of pocket expenses, receipts for over the counter medication with letter from doctor stating you should be taking the medicines.For Students: Everything in the family section that is applicable, college schedule, financial aid award letter (if applicable), parent assist form (if your parents claimed you on their taxes for last year.
