The Housing Authority of Benton (HAB) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The HAB offers one Public Housing community with 69 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from studios to 4 bedrooms.To apply, visit the HAB office to pick up a pre-application, located at 101 Walnut Ct, Benton, KY 42025, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm, Monday-Friday.Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm, Monday-Friday.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards for all household members, landlord reference form completed, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The HAB does have a preference for: Applicants that are employed, elderly, or disabled.For more information, call the HAB office at (270) 527-3626, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
