Fayette County, Kentucky Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Housing Authority (LHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open for for five days in March 2018. Before that, it was open for five days in August, 2015, in January, 2015, and in 2010. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences: Displaced by the LHA, veteran Head-of-Household, permanent resident of Kentucky, and up to 20% of vouchers shall be used by the LHA's Special Partners. Further explanation of each preference can be found here.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, by order of preferences.
