The Housing Authority of Sturgis (HAS) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The HAS offers one Public Housing community with 45 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from studio to 4 bedrooms.To apply, is it the HAS to pick up a pre-application, located at 116 E Old Providence Road, Sturgis, Kentucky 42459, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Thursday, and on Fridays from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm.Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Thursday, and on Fridays from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, and proof of all income.No preferences were identified.For more information, call the HAS office at (270) 333-4231, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Thursday, and on Fridays from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm.
