Housing Authority of Whitesburg Public Housing Waiting List

The Housing Authority of Whitesburg (HAW) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The HAW offers one Public Housing community with 104 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from studios to 4 bedrooms.To apply, visit the HAW office to pick up a pre-application, located at 4 Banks St, Whitesburg, KY 41858, from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, a $10.00 application fee, and $18.00 for each adult household member to complete the credit/criminal background check.The HAW does have a preference point system, and will go over that with the applicant when they apply.For more information, call the HAW office a (606) 633-7144, from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
