The Housing Authority of the Town of Saint Martinville (HATSM) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The HATSM offers one Public Housing community with 124 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from studios to 4 bedrooms.To apply, visit the HATSM to pick up a pre-application, located at 13 Bulliard Drive, Saint Martinville, LA 70582, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm CT; and 1:00 pm until 4:30 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm, and from 1:00 pm until 4:30 pm, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, and proof of all income.The HATSM does not have a preference.Qualified applicants will be placed by the date and time the pre-application is received.For more information, call the HATSM office at (337) 394-6288 during normal office hours.
