Guste High Rise Apartments Public Housing Waiting List

This waiting list is for Public Housing rental housing assistance in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The Housing Authority of New Orleans (HANO) Public Housing waiting list for 1 and 2-Bedroom apartments at Guste High Rise Apartments is currently open.

The HANO is accepting applications for this waiting list from June 2, 2014, until further notice. 

There are two ways to apply during the opening period: 

1. Print the paper application available here.
2. Pick up an application from the Guste High Rise Apartments located at 1301 Simon Bolivar Ave. New Orleans , LA 70113.

Once the paper application has been completed, it must be mailed to Guste High Rise Apartments, address mentioned above.

The maximum income limits for each household size are as follows:

• 1 person $26,040 | 4 Persons $37,140
• 2 Persons $29,760 | 5 Persons $40,140
• 3 Persons $33,480 | 6 Persons $43,140

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Involuntarily Displaced
• Substandard Housing/ Homeless
• Rent Exceeds 50% of income
• Working
• Student
• Victims of Domestic Violence

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, weighed by order of preferences.
