Housing Authority of Ruston Public Housing Waiting List

The Housing Authority of Ruston (HAR) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applicaitons for families and senior/disabled households.The HAR offers one Public Housing community with 298 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from studios to 4 bedrooms.There are two ways to apply:

1. Visit the HAR to pick up a pre-application, located at 615 N Farmerville St., Ruston, LA 71270, from 8:00 am until 3:30 pm CT, Monday-Friday.
2. Visit the HAR to submit a pre-application in person at the address listed above, from 8:30 am until 11:00 am; and 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday.

Once the pre application has been completed, it can be dropped off to the address listed above, from 8:30 am until 11:00 am; and 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday.Be sure to bring these documents with you when applying: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, and proof of all income.The HAR does have a preference for: Employed, elderly, or disabled.For more information, call the HAR office at (318) 255-3644 from 8:00 am until 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
