The Housing Authority of the Town of Gueydan (HATG) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The HATG offers one Public Housing community with 23 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms.To apply, visit the HATG to pick up a pre-application, located at 707 Wilkinson St., Gueydan, LA 70542, from 8:00 am until 3:30 pm CT, Monday-Friday.Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above from 8:00 am until 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, and proof of all income.The HATG does not have a preference.Qualified applicants will be placed by the date and time the pre-application is received.For more information, call the HATG office at (337) 536-6949 from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
