The Housing Authority of the Town of Jonesboro (HATJ) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The HATJ offers one Public Housing community with 191 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from studios to 4 bedrooms.To apply, visit the HATJ to pick up a pre-application, located at 839 Harvey Pl, Jonesboro, LA 71251, from 7:00 am until 5:00 pm, Monday-Thursday.Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 7:00 am until 5:00 pm, Monday-Thursday.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The HATJ does not have a preference.Qualified applicants will be placed by the date and time the pre-application is received.For more information, call the HATJ office at 318-259-3125, from 7:00 am until 5:00 pm, Monday-Thursday.
