Monroe, Louisiana, General Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The Monroe Housing Authority (MHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. Applications were last accepted for one day only on October 19, 2019.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to visit the MHA Annex.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Elderly and Disabled Head or Co-head of Household
• Involuntary Displacement (Disaster, Government Action)
• Veteran or surviving spouse

It is not known how applicants were placed on the waiting list, weighed by order of preferences.
