Saint Joseph Housing Commission Public Housing Waiting List

The Saint Joseph Housing Commission (SJHC) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for senior/disabled individuals.Please note: The SJHC does not offer a Public Housing program for families.The SJHC offers one Public Housing community with 107 units for senior/disabled individuals.There are two ways to apply:

1. Visit the SJHC to pick up a pre-application, located at 601 Port St., St. Joseph, MI 49085, from 7:00 am until 3:30 pm EDT, Monday-Friday.
2. Request that an application be mailed to you by calling (269) 983-2814 from 7:00 am until 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday.

Once the application has been completed, you must call the SJHC to schedule an application appointment at (269) 983-2814 from 7:00 am until 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday.Be sure to include copies of these documents with your application: Birth certificates, Social Security Cards, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The SJHC does have a preference for veterans and local applicants.For more information, visit the SJHC website, or by call the office at (269) 983-2814 from 7:00 am until 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
