The Higginsville Housing Authority (HHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The HHA offers one Public Housing community with 76 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 3 bedrooms.To apply, visit the HHA to pick up a pre-application, located at 419 Fairground Ave., Higginsville, MO 64037, from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm CT, Monday-Friday.Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, and proof of all income.The HHA does have a preference for applicants that live and/or work in Higginsville.For more information, call the HHA office at (660) 584-3911 from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
