Vandalia Housing Authority Public Housing Waiting List

The Vandalia Housing Authority (VHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The VHA offers one Public Housing community with 78 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms.To apply, visit the VHA to pick up a pre-application, located at 1001 S Maple St., Vandalia, MO 63382, from 8:30 am until 12:30 pm CT; and 1:00 pm until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:30 am until 12:30 pm; and 1:00 pm until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The VHA does have a preference for homeless applicants.For more information, call the VHA office at (573) 594-3712 from 8:30 am until 12:30 pm; and 1:00 pm until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
