The Housing Authority of the City of Richton Public Housing Waiting List

The Housing Authority of the City of Richton (HACR) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The HACR offers one Public Housing community with 56 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.To apply, visit the the HACR to pick up an application, located at 203 Walnut St., Richton, MS 39476, between the hours of 8:00 am until 12:00 pm, Monday-Thursday.Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.Be sure to include these documents with your application: birth certificates, social security cards, proof of income, photo IDs for all adult household members.The HACR does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: working families, elderly, disabled, or displaced by government action or natural disaster.For more information the HACR can be reached by calling (601) 788-6231, between the hours of 8:00 am until 12:00 pm, Monday-Thursday.
