Smithfield Housing Authority Public Housing Waiting List

The Smithfield Housing Authority (SHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The SHA offers one Public Housing community with 205 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.To apply, visit the SHA to pick up an application, located at 801 S 5th St, Smithfield, NC 27577, between the hours of 8:00 am until 5:00 pm Monday-Thursday, and on Fridays from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm.Once the application has been completed, you must call the SHA to schedule an interview at (919) 934-9491, between the hours of 8:00 am until 5:00 pm Monday-Thursday, and on Fridays from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm.Be sure to include these documents with your application: birth certificates, social security cards, proof of income, bank statements, and photo IDs for all adult household members.For more information, the SHA can be reached by calling (919) 934-9491, between the hours of 8:00 am until 5:00 pm Monday-Thursday, and on Fridays from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm.
