Cumberland County, New Jersey Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Cumberland County, New Jersey.

The Millville Housing (MHA) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program waiting list applications from January 22, 2024, until February 2, 2024. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply while the waitlist was open, applicants were required to complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences: 

• Disability
  • A preference for a family who includes a family member who is a person with disabilities. However, there cannot be a preference for a specific disability.
• Veteran of the United States Armed Forces
  • Only veterans discharged or released from active duty in the armed forces under honorable conditions are eligible for veterans' preference.
• Ranking
  • Any family terminated from the MHA HCV program due to insufficient program funding receives the highest selection preference. Families who qualify for a disability preference are the next highest selection preference.

300 selected applicants were placed on this waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.
