This waiting list is for Other Senior and Disabled rental housing assistance in Hempstead, New York.

The Hempstead Housing Authority (HHA) last accepted Affordable waitlist applications for Studio and 1-Bedroom apartments at General MacArthur Senior Village and Totten Towers from March 20, 2023, until March 27, 2023. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Applicants who live or work in the Village of Hempstead
• Veterans

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.
