Salem and Keizer, Oregon Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The Salem Housing Authority (SHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open in June, 2018. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

The waiting list has the following preferences: Homeless, victims of domestic violence, those terminated from assistance due to lack of funding, those terminated from assistance due to lack of funding, referred by local assistance program.

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, by order of preferences.
