The Reading Housing Authority (RHA) Elderly (62+)/Disabled Public Housing is currently closed. It was last open for 0 and 1-Bedroom apartments at Rhodes, Eisenhower & Hubert Apartments, and Kennedy & Franklin Tower for one week in February, 2019. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.
There were three ways to apply during the opening period:
- Complete the online application.
- Download and print the application online.
- Call to request an application by mail.
Once the paper application has been completed, it must have been mailed by first-class mail and postmarked between February 19 and February 25, 2019. Only one application per envelope was accepted.
This waiting list had the following preferences: Live, Work, or Attend School in Reading, Pennsylvania.
Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, by order of preferences. The RHA reserves the right to apply a lottery-based selection process for applications if the number of applications received exceeds more than two years of predicted unit availability.
