Public Housing Waiting List

The Smithfield Housing Authority (SHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for senior/disabled individuals.
Please note: The SHA does not offer a Public Housing program for families.
The SHA offers one Public Housing community with 50 units that are dedicated to senior/disabled individuals.
To apply, download the application here, then print and complete.
Once the application has been completed, it can be hand delivered to 7 Church Street, Greenville, RI 02828 during normal office hours.
Be sure to include documentation with your valid address with your application.
The SHA does have a preference for veterans, elderly, or applicants that currently live in Public Housing, or housing that is assisted by the Section 8 program, or any other type of Federally subsidized program.
