Spartanburg County, South Carolina Limited Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The Spartanburg Housing Authority (SHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open on a limited basis. Applications are being accepted by appointment only from May 17, 2021, until further notice.

Please note: According to the SHA, this waiting list is only open "for Working Families." The public notice states:

• "Applicants must submit proof of employment at the time of application. Sources of income will include verification of taxable wages, such as four (4) consecutive pay stubs or a letter from the employer.
• Applicants must be employed at the time of admission to the program."

To apply during the opening period, call (864) 598-6000 to schedule an appointment.
