Public Housing Waiting List

The De Smet Housing and Redevelopment Commission (DHRC) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for senior/disabled/single individuals.
Please note: The DHRC does not have Public Housing for families.

The DHRC offers one Public Housing community with 35 one bedroom units for senior/disabled/single individuals.
There are two ways to apply:

1. Visit the DHRC office to pick up a pre-application, located at 408 Calumet Ave. N, De Smet, SD 57231 during normal office hours.
2. Request to have a pre-application mailed to you by calling (605) 854-3213 during normal office hours.

Once the pre-application has been completed, you must call the DHRC to schedule an appointment at (605) 854-3213 during normal office hours.
No preferences were noted.
