Cookeville Housing Authority Public Housing Waiting List

The Highlands Residential Services (HRS) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The HRS offers five Public Housing communities with 577 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.There are four ways to apply:

1. Visit the HRS to pick up a pre-application, located at 235 West Jackson Street, Cookeville, TN, during normal office hours.
2. Request to have a pre-application mailed to you by calling (931) 526-9793 during normal office hours.
3. Email the HRS to request a pre-application at [email protected].
4. Download the online pre-application here, then print and complete.

Once the application has been completed, you must call the HRS to schedule an application interview at (931) 526-9793, Ext. 211 during normal office hours.Be sure to include these documents with your application: Birth certificates, Social Security Cards, proof of all income, and a government issued ID for all adult household members.
