This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in El Paso, Texas.

Housing Opportunity Management Enterprises (HOME) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from September 14, 2023 at 8:00 am CT, until further notice. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply while the waitlist was open, applicants were required to complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Family that has been terminated from its HCV program and had to reapply due to insufficient program funding.
• Family that was involuntarily displaced due to conversion of Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) of a public housing project, where specific funding is not awarded to HACEP by HUD.
• Special program admissions due to targeted funding from HUD.
• A government action or a state or federally declared natural disaster or involuntary displacement

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, weighed by order of preferences.
