0 and 1-Bedroom Public Housing Waiting List

This waiting list is for Public Housing rental housing assistance in Winnsboro, Texas .

The Housing Authority of Winnsboro (HAW) is accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for 0 and 1-Bedroom apartments from the earliest confirmed open date of March 6, 2024, until further notice. This is the first time the waiting list has been opened since it closed in September, 2022.

To apply while the waitlist is open, print the paper application.

Once the application has been completed, it must be either:

1. Submitted online to the HAW here as a pdf.
2. Mailed to the HAW, 612 Autumn Drive, Winnsboro, TX 75494.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Involuntarily Displaced
  • Natural Disaster, Code Enforcement, Witness Protection, Domestic Violence, Youth Aging Out of Foster Care.
• Working Family
  • Employment, Disability
• Homeless, Veteran
• Education, training

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.
