Galena Housing Authority Public Housing Waiting List

The Galena Housing Authority (GHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The GHA offers one Public Housing community with 40 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.There are two ways to apply:

1. Visit the GHA to pick up a pre-application, located at 1301 Elm St., Galena, KS 66739, during normal office hours.
2. Request to have a pre-application mailed to you by calling (620) 783-5525 during normal office hours.

Once the pre-application has been completed, you must call the GHA at (620) 783-5525 to schedule an application interview.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards, proof of all income, birth certificates, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The GHA does not have a preference.Qualified applicants will be placed by the date and time the pre-application is received.For more information, the GHA can be reached by calling (620) 783-5525 during normal office hours.
