Wheeling Housing Authority Public Housing Waiting List

The Wheeling Housing Authority (WHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The WHA offers 10 Public Housing communities with 613 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.There are two ways to apply:

1. Visit the WHA to pick up an application, located at 11 Community Street, Wheeling, WV, between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
2. Request to have an application mailed to you by calling 304-242-4447, between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.

Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.Be sure to include these documents with your application: birth certificates, Social Security cards, proof of income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The WHA does have a preference for local residents and individuals that are employed at least twenty hours a week.More information can be found by visiting the WHA website at http://www.wheelingwv-pha.org, or by calling 304-242-4447, between the hours of 8:00 am until 4:30 pm.
