Eligibility
The Beloit Housing Authority (BHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.
The BHA offers seven Public Housing communities with 92 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 5 bedrooms.
There are two ways to apply:
Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards, birth certificates, proof of all income, declaration status 214 form for all household members, preference documentation (if applicable), release of information form signed from each adult household member, and photo IDs for all adult household members.
The BHA does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: Displaced by a federal or state disaster within the last six months, live/work/attend school in Beloit, participant in a program for victims of domestic violence, graduate of a transitional housing program within the last six months, honorably discharged U.S. Veteran, or needing a handicapped accessible unit.

- Download a pre-application online for general applicants here, and for applicants with no income here, then print and complete.
