Jasper, Alabama Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The Jasper Housing Authority (JHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open in December, 2018. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

Jasper, AL is about 40 miles northwest of Birmingham, Alabama.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to pick up an application at the Jasper Housing Authority. As of September 2024, the housing authority has moved to an online application portal for all of its housing opportunities and it is expected the next time the Jasper Section 8 waiting list opens, it will be an online application.

The JHA did have preferences that were listed in detail on the application.
