Tuscaloosa County, Alabama Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The Tuscaloosa Housing Authority (THA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open for three days in August 2016. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

There were two ways to apply during the opening period:

1. Complete the online application.
2. Pick up an application at the Bethel Baptist Church. 

Once the paper application has been completed, it must have been mailed to the THA office. Applications must have been postmarked before August 26, 2016, or it was not accepted. Hand delivered applications were not accepted.

Applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received.
