Yuma County, Arizona Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Yuma County, Arizona; except the City of Yuma.

The Yuma County Housing Department (YCHD) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. Applications were last accepted since at least February, 2021, until further notice.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to print the online paper application.

This waiting list had the following preferences: 

• Residency Preference: 
  • For families who live, work, or have been hired to work in YCHD’s operational jurisdiction; Yuma County outside Yuma City Limits. Proof in the form of the letter extending the offer of employment will be required. As required byHUD, families where the head and spouse, or sole member is a person age 62 or older, oris a person with disabilities, will also be given the benefit of the working preference.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, weighed by order of preferences.
