South County Section 8 Project-Based Voucher Waiting List

This waiting list is for Section 8 Project-Based Voucher rental housing assistance in South County, California.

The Housing Authority of the County of Monterey (HACM) last accepted Section 8 Project Based Voucher waiting list applications for South County from the earliest confirmed date of March 7, 2023, until further notice. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

Please note: This waiting list was for the following properties:

• Benito Street Affordable (4, & 5 bedroom units).
• Monterey Street Affordable (4 & 5 bedroom units).
• Fanoe Vista (4 & 5 bedroom units).
• Camphora Apartments (3 bedroom units) Agricultural Workers.

To apply while the waitlist was open, applicants were required to visit the HACM website, and scroll down to the "Project Based Waiting Lists" section. Download and print the application for properties of interest with an open waiting list.

Once the application was completed, it was either:

1. Hand delivered to the HACM office.
2. Faxed to the HACM office.

Preferences have not been confirmed.

Selected applicants were placed on this waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.
