This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, Inyo, Mariposa, Mono, and Tuolumne County, California.

The Housing Authority of the County of Stanislaus (HACS) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list for Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, Inyo, Mariposa, Mono, and Tuolumne County is currently closed. Applications were last accepted on a limited basis, from September 20, 2017, until November 22, 2019. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

Please note: According to the HACS, "The Housing Authority is limiting the wait list opening to applicants who qualify for the Local “Residency Preference”. Only those applicants who are determined income eligible and either living in or working in the Counties identified will be admitted to the wait list. This wait list opening limitation is in accordance with HUD PIH Notice 2012-34"

This waiting list has the following preferences: Live or work in the county selected. There may be additional preferences, but they have yet to be confirmed.
