This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Placer County, California; Excluding the City of Roseville.

The Placer County Housing Authority (PCHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open for 11 days from October until November 2017; and before that for 10 days in October 2014. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences: Terminated from HCV program due to insufficient funding, elderly and live or work in Placer County (with the exception of Roseville); disabled and live or work in Placer County (with the exception of Roseville); veteran and live or work in Placer County (with the exception of Roseville); homeless in Placer County (with the exception of Roseville) and are in transitional housing, shelter programs, or fleeing form domestic violence; homeless and referred by a partnering Social Services agency.

500 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.
