This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Fremont County, Colorado.

The Upper Arkansas Area Council of Governments (UAACOG) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list for Fremont is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from August 19, 2019, until an unconfirmed date in 2020. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to pick up an application from the UAACOG lobby. Applications may have been picked up as soon as August 1, 2019, but were not accepted until August 19, 2019.

According to UAACOG, "Applications will be taken on a first-come first-serve basis," but it is not known how to submit an application.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• A disabled individual.
• A person experiencing homelessness.
• A victim of domestic violence.
• Non-elderly disabled person transitioning from nursing homes and other approved institutions into independent, community-based living.
• Elderly (62+) transitioning from approved institutions into independent, community based living.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, weighed by order of preferences.
