Petaluma River Apartments and Mill District Apartments Section 8 Project-Based Voucher Waiting List

This waiting list is for Section 8 Project-Based Voucher rental housing assistance in Petaluma and Healdsburg, California.

The Sonoma County Housing Authority (SCHA) Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list apartments at Petaluma River Apartments and Mill District Apartments is closed.

The SCHA last accepted applications for this waiting list from May 23, 2022, until July 1, 2022, or until 300 applications were received for each waiting list. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

• Petaluma River Apartments, Petaluma (1 Bedroom Units)
• Mill District Apartments, Healdsburg (1, 2 and 3 Bedroom Units)

Please note: According to the SCHA public notice, "A separate application is required for each waitlist."

There were three ways to apply during the opening period: 

1. Complete the online application.
2. Call the SCHA to request an application.
3. Print the paper application.

Once the application was completed, it was dropped off at the SCHA office.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Persons with disabilities
• Seniors (62+ years of age)

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.
