1, 2, 3 and 5-Bedroom Public Housing Waiting List

This waiting list is for Public Housing rental housing assistance in Norwalk, Connecticut.

The Housing Authority of the City of Norwalk has closed its public housing waiting list for 1, 2, 3, and 5-bedroom apartments in Norwalk, Connecticut. The waiting list is not currently accepting new applications.

For information about when the waiting list may reopen, contact the Housing Authority at (203) 838-8871 or visit their office at 24 Day Street, Norwalk, CT 06854 (Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM). You may also check back periodically for updates on waiting list openings.

When the waiting list reopens, eligibility requirements will include:

• Must meet income eligibility limits based on household size
• Must pass criminal background check
• Must provide proof of income, citizenship/eligible immigration status
• Must not owe money to any other housing authority
