This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Hialeah, Florida.

The Hialeah Housing Authority (HHA) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from April 22, 2024, until April 29, 2024. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as followed:

• 1 Person $39,750 | 5 Persons $61,300
• 2 Persons $45,400 | 6 Persons $65,850
• 3 Persons $51,050 | 7 Person $70,400
• 4 Persons $56,750 | 8 Persons $74,950

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Elderly or Disabled
• Displacement due to a Federally Recognized Natural Disaster
• Moving Up
• Homelessness
• Non-Elderly Disabled
• Person with Disabilities

1000 selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.
