Northwest Gardens II 1 and 2 Bedrooms Senior Section 8 Project-Based Voucher Waiting List

This waiting list is for Senior Section 8 Project-Based Voucher rental housing assistance in Fort Lauderdale.

The Housing Authority of the City of Fort Lauderdale (HACFL) Senior Project-Based Voucher waiting list for 1-2 Bedroom units at Northwest Gardens II is currently closed. The last time it was open was September 2024 when 100 applicants were added to the One-Bedroom waiting list and 75 applicants were added to the Two-Bedroom applications have been received. The last time the waiting list was open before that was in April 2019.

Please note: To be eligible to be placed on the waiting list, the family composition must have a maximum of 2 family members for the 1 bedroom apartments and a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 4 family members for the 2 bedroom apartments.

Fort Lauderdale, Florida is about 25 miles north of Miami, FL.

To apply during the opening period, applicants had to complete the online application that will be available on the HACFL website here.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received.
